CROP is set apart in its holistic approach to reentry and comprehensive services for people coming home from prison

At CROP, justice-involved people receive a continuum of care that truly wraps around the individual by meeting them where they are.

Our innovation is establishing a new model for sustained, successful reentry that prioritizes each person, responds to applicant inquiries in a timely manner and supports people in the parole process for pre-program stabilization.

Prepare Justice-Involved People - Ready 4 Life program is designed as a holistic one year experience that integrates re-entry and housing supports with robust workforce training in the tech industry. In addition, CROP works collaboratively to facilitate the entry into career pathways for living wage employment.

CROP is committed to using data to inform our program design and track outcomes.

As part of our contract with the State, CROP is conducting a program evaluation in partnership with Public Profit. We are measuring the impacts of program participation on key areas such as recidivism, employment, health, housing placement, and educational attainment, as well as self-reported attitudes and behaviors.

We are monitoring readiness indicators across housing, reentry, employment, and social supports. CROP is also tracking important milestones that are critical to successful reentry like securing right to work documents, such as a driver’s license, accessing health care, repairing credit, and saving money.

CROP’s Reentry Roadmap Data Platform will improve service navigation for people returning home from prison.

CROP is partnering with Dignifi, a company founded by a graduate of the Ready 4 Life program, to co-design a data platform and resource and eligibility hub.

The Reentry Roadmap is an AI powered resource navigation, case management, and outcome tracking tool designed to empower individuals, strengthen reentry programs, and direct investment to smarter reentry policy. This collaboration will allow CROP to support justice-impacted Californians with identifying and securing quality programming.
