CROP joins BOP National Resource Team

CROP leaders recently joined the Federal Bureau of Prisons’ first-ever National Resource Team initiative as subject matter experts contributing to the advancement of prison culture transformation nationwide. Working alongside federal leadership, wardens, and correctional professionals, CROP brings lived expertise and reentry-centered strategies into conversations focused on strengthening institutional culture, rehabilitation, accountability, and successful community reintegration.

As an organization led by formerly-incarcerated people, CROP’s inclusion reflects a growing national recognition that meaningful systems change must include the voices of those directly impacted. Through our decades of combined lived and professional experience, CROP continues to help shape correctional environments to prioritize dignity, personal development, workforce readiness, and long-term public safety outcomes.
