Alexis bustos (She/Her), Director of Learning and Partnerships
Alexis joined CROP in February 2023. She oversees CROP’s technical training programs, professional development workshops, and employer partnerships—ensuring our participants are fully prepared for meaningful careers. As a Designer & Researcher who holds a BFA in Interaction Design from California College of the Arts, she has worked with teams creating holistic consumer journeys through user-centered design and digital experiences. She has collaborated in-person with teams in San Francisco and Japan and virtually hosted design workshops with teams in Poland, Ukraine, China, and Ireland.
Alexis has also worked to mentor new designers and creatives wherever she can, mostly working through Adobe’s learning platforms, Adobe Live, and Behance. She has worked with Chapman University as a guest lecturer for their Graphic Design program, and has been featured in Communication Arts Magazine and Filipinas on the Rise Podcast for her work reinforcing Diversity and Inclusion within Tech/Design. She believes good design is where creativity and empathy meet.
