Ready 4 Life Program

A holistic residential reentry program focused on jumpstarting your tech-focused career

The Ready 4 Life program, based in LA and the Bay Area, is designed for formerly incarcerated people who have been in the community for no longer than five years.

We accept applications on a rolling basis.

Ready 4 Life is CROP’s signature reentry program that equips justice-involved people with the tools they need for success in a tech-focused career.

Designed by formerly incarcerated leaders, this twelve-month career development program includes case management, participant stipends, and holistic wraparound care. Up to 30 participants annually are offered supportive housing at our flagship campus.

The CROP campus provides rent‑free housing, rental history, and time to accrue savings for permanent housing. We support parole planning pre-release and permanent housing support post-program.

Los Angeles Program

CROP’s Ready 4 Life program also serves the Greater Los Angeles Area. The LA program provides all four pillars of the 12-month Ready 4 Life in a hybrid format. Fellows meet on zoom from 4-8pm Monday through Thursday with optional drop-in sessions and community events on Fridays at CROP’s Long Beach office.

The LA program does not offer housing and fellows must have stable housing to apply. Work experience is a plus. The LA program offers a Sales Track which provides certifications in marketing along with experiential sales and customer service training.
