California Correctional Center
Pilot Program
CROP’S INNOVATIVE IN-PRISON PROGRAM

Why is the CROP Pilot unique vs. other programs:

  • State-mandated programs per sentencing  requirements are completed while incarcerated at no cost to inmate, as opposed having to complete post-release . Upon release, the parolee is able to  concentrate solely on securing employment, locating  support groups, and re-uniting with family.
  • CAADAC  - California Association of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors, a State approved certified substance abuse program.
  • E-Learning educational system, a software system that will allow inmates to complete their GED. It has been documented that a person that drops out of school is 63 times more likely to become institutionalized. There will also be an opportunity to get a AA & BA degrees as well.
  • Privately paid on -site certified educators.
  • Faith-based transformational programming
  • Mentoring Program
Through state approved programs and faith-based options, the inmates that graduate from the CCC Pilot program will provide a decrease in California recidivism rates and a long term reduction in taxpayer costs.
